Thanks for visiting little Mia Bella and Emmy Faith today!  Mia and Emmy are purebred Yorkshire Terriers, or a "yorkies".  Mia is seven years old and Emmy is six years old!  They are possibly the most spoiled dogs you'll ever meet, and they know it!  But it has not made them rotten, they are still as sweet as can be and are mommy's little princesses!

We hope you like our site and read some interesting and important information about the yorkie breed, as well as Mia and Emmy's mommy's favorite places to shop for their clothes and carriers!  I'll update pictures all the time so come back and check out whats new!  Thanks for stopping by, and please sign our guestbook, Mia and Emmy love visitors!  Check out our sections on yorkie care and yorkie information links.

It is with a heavy heart that we have to tell you we lost our precious Mia Bella very suddenly this past Sunday, November 6, 2011, just three months shy of her 8th birthday.  She was having a little trouble breathing and stopped eating, so we took her to the emergency vet.  They immediately informed us the severity of the situation and put her in an oxygen chamber.  She was in critical condition and was not strong enough to do X-rays or insert a catheter.  When our family saw her miserably struggling to breath the next day, we made the difficult decision to end her suffering.  Her exhausted tiny body just could not fight anymore.  They were able to do x-rays and discovered devastating lung disease could be caused by bronchitis, or pneumonia, but the vet said by the time they show signs of struggle its usually too late to intervene, especially because of how tiny she was.  I was able to hold her and kiss her and tell her how much joy she has brought to so many lives, and she laid her head comfortably on my shoulder as she passed.  I thank you for all the love you have sent to Mia and to our family, she was obviously more than a pet to me...she was my best friend and I am absolutely devastated.
